South Carolina Turkey Hunt The low country of South Carolina provides some of the finest eastern wild turkey hunting to be had. Each spring hunters from around the world flock to the area to take advantage of the early opportunity to try the world class longbeard hunting available here in the low country. Dry Branch is no exception, hosting a large population of wary toms. All hunts are conducted during the regular spring South Carolina turkey season March 15 - May 1. Hunters will be allowed one mature longbearded gobbler per day with a maximum of five per season. All hunts are conducted with a guide from dawn until lunch and semi guided in the afternoons, allowing hunters a chance to call in their own tom in the afternoons.
All hunters are required to have a valid SC Hunting License.
